The employee will have a hands-on role in the accounting and finance function for our US and Canadian operations. Process transactions according to the monthly close cycle and gain other industry specific skills to support multiple products.

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Billing customers monthly, including recurring and usage-based revenues

Process daily deposits in US and Canadian Dollars

Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation

Process sales tax and Canadian GST / HST reconciliations and returns

Balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries

Prepare cash flow projections and financial statements

Assist with external audit

Ensure timely and accurate compliance with regulatory requirements

Research and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

Cross-train and update accounting procedures

Other assignments as applicable

Microsoft Excel- ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets using advanced formulas (including vlookups and sumifs)

Experience with Salesforce and Sage Intacct is a plus

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related field preferred
• Licensed CPA a plus
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience with billing systems and processes
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP standards and regulations
• SAAS billing experience preferred, but not required
• Experience in public companies, preferred
