Sr. Engineering Technician - Materials Testing
Onsite in either Charleston, SC OR Raleigh, NC
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine and advanced field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT or other standards
- Perform and document observations of construction
- Review and understand project related drawings and specifications
- Communicate effectively with project staff and project construction team
- Report observations and test results
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma, GED, or Associate degree required
- Three or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry and / or asphalt materials
- ACI Field Grade I Certification
- Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- NICET, DOT, and other applicable Certifications will be considered beneficial in the role
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
