INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Overview :
Leslie Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will manage and oversee U.
S. Navy valve projects from the initial request for quotation (RFQ) through to product delivery and post-installation testing.
As the primary point of contact for our customers' purchasing, engineering, operations, and quality departments, you will ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, technical assistance, and product selection expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management : Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products to U.S. Navy ship construction prime contractors on time and within budget.
Coordinate efforts between engineering, planning, purchasing, operations, quality, and warehouse teams.
- Quotation Management : Review customer RFQs for U.S. Navy projects, considering factory capabilities and capacity. Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations in accordance with CIRCOR and customer requirements.
- Customer Communication : Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status.
Address customer inquiries related to technical information, quality performance, scheduling, and pricing.
Technical Support : Serve as a technical resource, providing product recommendations and consulting with internal stakeholders to ensure the best solutions for customer needs.
Knowledge of terms and conditions (Ts&Cs) is essential.
- Quality Assurance : Monitor and address customer quality ratings and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Documentation : Document all sales and marketing activities, track opportunities, and manage data entry using ERP systems and Microsoft Office software.
- Customer Advocacy : Act as the customer's advocate within the organization, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
Required Qualifications :
Experience : 2-5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing environment, preferably as an inside sales representative.
Experience with RFQs and ERP systems is crucial.
- Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to solve both routine and complex problems with minimal supervision.
- Project Management : Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, with a strong commitment to process and procedure adherence.
- Detail-oriented : Highly organized, thorough, and meticulous, with the ability to maintain accuracy and produce quality work under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Intermediate data entry skills and experience pulling information from ERP systems.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred, with at least five years of relevant experience.
Significant work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
Citizenship : U.S. Citizenship is required due to project-specific regulations.

Salary : $65K-75K - commensurate with experience
