About The Position
Job Title : X-ray Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8H Evening (3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : 2 years in relevant specialty License : Radiology Technologist license in Virginia (or proof of application in process) Certifications : Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Experience with using a c-arm in the operating room for endoscopy, especially spine and orthopedic cases- Skilled in fluoroscopy exams, such as Upper Gastrointestinal (UGIs), Myelograms, Lumbar punctures, etc.
- Proficient in all diagnostic exams, including trauma Job Description : Willingness to work in the operating room, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and emergency department.
- Comfortable operating and managing c-arm technology for various procedures.- Demonstrated ability to perform various diagnostic imaging exams with proficiency, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
- Participate in orientation sessions every other week on Mondays.- Adaptability to work in various environments and conditions as required.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.- Requirement for all requested time off (RTO) to be submitted during the application process.
- Note : Employers may cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census fluctuations. Approved declinations for Covid / Flu vaccinations are accepted.*
