As a Kitchen Utility Staff, you will play an essential role in supporting our kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, ensuring efficient dishwashing, and assisting with various tasks to keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities :
1. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in all areas of the kitchen, including dishwashing, equipment, floors, and surfaces.
2. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring efficient and organized dishwashing procedures.
3. Assist with food preparation tasks, such as peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients, under the supervision of the kitchen staff.
4. Support the kitchen team in organizing and stocking supplies, including food ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and utensils.
5. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen storage area, including proper storage of supplies and equipment.
6. Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling, following proper procedures.
7. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
8. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including assisting with plating and garnishing dishes.
9. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
10. Take direction from the kitchen manager and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
Requirements :
1. Previous experience in a kitchen utility or similar role is preferred but not required.
2. Strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility for cleanliness and organization.
3. Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety practices.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and carrying.
6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
8. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
