About The Position
Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist Job In North Carolina
Location : North Carolina
Start Date : Early December
Length : 54 days
Shifts : 12-hour day shifts (7AM to 7PM), Tuesday-Sunday on a week-on, week-off rotation.
A North Carolina hospital is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 54-day locum tenens assignment beginning in early December.
The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts (7AM to 7PM), working Tuesday through Sunday on a week-on, week-off rotation.
Primary responsibilities include managing diabetes patients, handling admissions, discharges, and transfers, and occasional specialty consults.
Comfort with ventilator management is essential, as there are no intensivists on staff. While intubation skills are preferred, they're not mandatory.
The facility uses Allscripts, Centricity, and Meditech EHR systems. This position offers potential for extension.
