About The Position
Job Title : Nuclear Medicine TechnologistJob Specialty : Nuclear MedicineJob Duration : Not specifiedShift : Day - 5x8 - 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM - 40 HoursGuaranteed Hours : Not specifiedExperience : 1-2 years post Nuclear Medicine Certification requiredLicense : Nuclear Medicine Certification ARRT (N) or CNMT requiredCertifications : BLS Certification (AHA) requiredMust-Have : High School diploma or equivalentJob Description : - Work under the direction of a physician and use radioactive materials for the diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
- Safely store and dispose of radioactive materials.- Prepare the correct dosages of radioactive materials and administer them to patients.
- Operate nuclear instruments and prepare information received from the test for the physician.- Follow any additional instructions and perform other duties as requested by a supervisor.
