Pay Information

$225 to $265 per hour

About The Position

Rheumatology Locums Physician - Pennsylvania, Light Call and Stable Schedule

Ongoing Rheumatology assignment in Pennsylvania with low call volume and flexible start in early 2026.

Highlights

  • 20 shifts per month, Monday through Friday
  • Minimal call, typically 0 to 5 calls per month
  • Long-term assignment, ideal for advance planning
  • Open to IMLC physicians with active LOQ

Practice Setting

  • Hybrid role with outpatient visits and limited inpatient consults
  • 12 to 16 outpatients per day
  • Supportive team includes 2 onsite PAs
  • EPIC used across the system

    • Schedule

  • Weekdays, 8a to 4 : 30p; night call from 4 : 30p to 8a
  • Optional weekend call is 24-hour beeper only
  • Call shared every other week with APPs
  • After-hours consults typically handled via phone or EMR

    • Cases

  • Focus on general Rheumatology, including RA, gout, lupus, fibromyalgia
  • New patients booked in 40 to 60 minute slots
  • Return visits typically 20 minutes
  • Joint injections and APP collaboration included

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Rheumatology
  • BLS certification required
  • Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC with LOQ

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
  • Malpractice insurance with tail provided
