Position : Medical Director Anesthesia
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.
- Develop a unified culture supporting our CREATE values among anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists regarding practice style, clinical and operational objectives for the department.
- Assure regular department meetings to discuss clinical and operational elements of the program as well as overarching perioperative program issues.
- Manage staffing assignment schedules at 2 campus locations working collaboratively with the Lead CNRA
- Knowledge of hospital-based physician services.
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary team development.
- Knowledge of governmental regulations, rules and compliance requirements related to clinical practice.
- Displays consistent behavior that enhances the public image of the organization as evidenced by professionalism, interaction with peers, customers, vendors, etc.
- Completes periodic, but at least annual, reviews of individual Anesthesia providers, and takes actions as necessary based on the reviews.
- Ability to use various computer systems and applications.
- Ability to plan, organize and supervise.
- Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making process.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
