Accounting Specialist
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join a local company's team. This role involves various financial and accounting tasks, including the preparation of financial statements, month / year-end close functions, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and tax filings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual financial statements.
- Perform month / year-end close functions.
- Conduct assigned bank reconciliations.
- Process live or after-the-fact payroll for our clients.
- File and pay client payroll and sales taxes timely and accurately.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
- Perform various special projects as requested.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
