Position Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Controller to establish and lead the finance function. This role is a critical part of the leadership team, functioning as both a player and a coach, and will develop and implement the financial infrastructure of the organization.

The Controller will provide financial leadership, guidance, and analysis to colleagues and investment partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing financial reporting frameworks, financial controls and compliance, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and collaborating with other leaders on budgeting, flash reports, and KPIs.

Additionally, the Controller will be responsible for selecting and maintaining HRIS systems and preparing tax returns and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and Lead Finance Function : Oversee all accounting operations strategically and tactically, contributing to the development and maintenance of the P&L.
• Financial Operations : Manage financial reporting, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Corporate Treasurer Duties : Ensure adequate cash management to support business growth from operations and investments.
• Collaborate with Leadership : Develop business intelligence capabilities to achieve KPIs, resolve business issues, improve performance, and support scaling efforts.
• Decision Support : Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist company leaders with decision-making.
• Information Requests : Provide organized, fact-based responses supporting key observations, assumptions, and conclusions.
• Finance and HRIS Systems : Set up and oversee the company’s Finance and HR Information Systems.

• Educational Background : BSc / BA in accounting or a relevant field; CPA is a plus but not required.
• Experience : Minimum of 4 years in a related role.
