Sr Medical Director/Medical Director - Oncology
Meet has partnered with a biotech that is at the forefront of research and development in cortisol modulation, pioneering molecules that regulate cortisol activity at the glucocorticoid receptor (GR).
They are seeking a Sr Medical Director / Medical Director to play a pivotal role in shaping molecule and program strategy, ensuring the medical and scientific integrity of oncology clinical trials.
A Typical Day May Include :
- Providing clinical expertise and leadership to internal teams and external contacts
- Offering medical oversight for operational staff, CROs, and clinical trial sites
- Designing clinical development plans and implementing studies from Phase I through Phase III
- Establishing relationships with external experts to facilitate scientific excellence in trial research
- Reviewing and approving scientific methods for clinical protocols and data collection systems
- Participating in regulatory discussions and activities throughout the development cycle
- Contributing to the writing and review of clinical documents for global regulatory submissions
Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
- Strong communication and leadership skills in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to maintain a sense of urgency around timelines
Preferred Education and Experience :
- MD required, with board eligibility or certification in oncology / hematology
- 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Relevant clinical research experience in academic and industry settings
