Job Title : Sanitation Team Member (AM shift)
Position Objective : We are an innovative protein bar manufacturing Company looking for a Sanitation Team Member. The shift is from 6 : 00AM - 2 : 30PM Monday - Saturday, with Overtime.
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager this position is responsible for all cleaning / sanitizing of all equipment used in production and supplies;
including the cleaning of offices, restrooms, and break room. Follows all Company safety and GMP guidelines when performing all tasks.
May perform other duties as required.
Responsibilities :
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) in order to clean equipment and facility at a biological level.
- Follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
- Follow of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Clean bathrooms, offices, employee break room, hallways, floors, doors, walls and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, scrubbing and polishing.
- Empty and decontaminate trash containers.
- Order and maintain inventory of sanitation supplies
- Responsible for ordering all snacks and drinks from Costco
- Move, rearrange and dust furniture and fixtures.
- Wash windows with prescribed solutions.
- Sweep sidewalks, porches. Keep front and back driveways of facility clean from trash and debris.
- Maintain and report needs / concerns for repairs to supervisor.
- Report any safety hazards to supervisor.
- Water plants and perform other related duties on the grounds when assigned.
- Perform custodial related duties necessary to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions at the facility.
- Assist on the Production line as needed. Be a Team player.
- Communicate and follow YouBars food safety commitment practice.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Job Qualifications and Essential Functions :
- Minimum Education : High School, or GED.
- Minimum 1-year general maintenance / custodial experience preferred.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Excellent record of attendance and punctuality
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be able to identify problems and provide resolution
- Good organizational and time management
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to work with shellfish, seafood, crustaceans, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, whey without incident.
