Job Description :
- Work in a Cardiovascular Unit with a capacity of 36 beds.
- Serve cardiac and neuro stepdown patients, including cardiac bedside monitoring, cardiac drips, TR bands, post-heart catheterizations, stroke / neuro patients, and BIPAP overflows.
- Provide care to patients ranging from young adult through late adult (18 - 60+).
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6.
- Participate in a variable staffing grid, including collaboration with Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs).
- Assume full responsibility for the patients within the team.
