About The Position
Job Title : Surgical TechnologistJob Specialty : Surgical TechnologistJob Duration : 13 weeks minimumShift : Days + On-CallGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours per weekExperience : Minimum of 2 yearsLicense : Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist programCertifications : Surgical Technologist Certification preferred, American Heart Association BLS requiredMust-Have : - Must stay within 30 minutes when on-call- State-mandated reporter trainingJob Description : - Provide technical assistance during surgical procedures- Adhere to protocols relating to scrubbing and assisting in surgeries- Work with patients of all ages in the surgery department- Engage in surgeries including General, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental- Exhibit a high level of motivation and excellent interpersonal skills- Be a team player in a dynamic environmentSchedule Details : - Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm (start as early as 6 : 00 am based on case load)- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately 1 night every 2-week pay period, and every 5th to 6th weekend- Holiday call rotation requiredUrgency : Quick StartHoliday Coverage Required : Yes
