A North Carolina-based healthcare network is currently seeking a licensed professional to join their staff as their new Radiology Supervisor.
About the Opportunity :
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts
Responsibilities :
The Radiology Supervisor will be responsible for :
- Supervise activities of personnel and provides adequate coverage of all areas on a daily basis
- Coordinate and organizes the patient flow throughout the department, prioritizing procedures and shifting workloads as needed
- Verify quality of exams on all procedures performed by staff
- Participate in training of staff and conducts in-service education and staff meetings
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in regards to system management
- Act as the technical leader for the section providing expertise, physician interaction, and direction for the sections diagnostic role in the department
- Performing other duties, as needed.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT certification
- CPR certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with CT / DX registries
Desired Skills :
- Siemens CT experience
