Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Circulator to join our Surgery Department. In this role, you will serve as a critical member of the surgical team, ensuring patient safety, managing the operating room environment, and advocating for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
The RN Circulator plays a vital role in collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgeries.Key Responsibilities* Assess and monitor patient needs before, during, and after surgery.
- Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments and equipment.* Ensure a sterile environment is maintained, upholding all safety and infection control standards.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide intraoperative support.* Act as the patient's advocate throughout the surgical process.
- Coordinate communication between the surgical team and other departments.* Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.
Qualifications* Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).* Licensure : Current Texas RN license required.
- Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required.* Experience : 1-2 years of experience in surgical services or the operating room is required.
