Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking an experienced Midwife to join our Womens Health team at our Mulford Clinic in Rockford, IL .

Opportunity :

• Provide patient care and education to an assigned caseload of obstetrical and gynecological patients in accordance with established midwifery practice guidelines
• Educate midwifery, medical and nursing students, and nursing and resident staff in normal childbirth.
• Collaborate with an experienced OBGYN physician and another GYN physician
• Hours : M-F, 8a-5p and shared call
• Position will include both clinic and assisting with deliveries at the hospital, including c-sections in the OR
• Office in clinic 2 days a week 8am- 5pm, Hospital 2 24 hour call days that can be done from home
