A mission-oriented software development company in Texas, who is revolutionizing sustainable farming, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team.
This full-time and fully remote position will be working on their green-tech big data platform, designing and developing REST APIs and new features using Python , Django, Vue and deploying to AWS .
You will work directly with the CTO, product manager and technical manager to collaborate on technical direction and best practices.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Python and Django or Flask for web application development
- Experience with Vue (or any modern JavaScript framework)
- Experience with AWS (or similar cloud technology such as Azure or GCP)
- Architecture and design experience
Bonus Skills
- PostgreSQL experience (or similar relational database)
- Experience with PostGIS , GIS or any geospatial related tools
- Advanced knowledge of developing RESTful APIs and Microservices with Python
