Part time, PRN, or full time employment options.The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist and assists them with responsibilities such as collecting background information, providing input prior to / during the pediatric occupational therapy evaluation, treatment for children with neuromuscular, developmental, sensory-motor, behavioral and / or emotional limitations.

We are a therapist owned company that is passionate about providing quality Speech and Occupational Therapy to children ages birth to 18 years.Requirements :

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)
• Previous experience with the pediatric population OR Ability to accept robust mentorship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a positive manner with children of all ages.
• Must be detail-oriented and can prioritize a variety of tasks.
• Possess a helpful nature.
• Dedication to compliance and best practices.Responsibilities :
• Helps pediatric patients improve their quality of life by helping them according to the treatment plan developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing education, reading professional publications, and participation in professional organizations.
• Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.
