About The Position
Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : Not specified Shift : 8 Hour Variable Guaranteed Hours : 0 hours per week Experience : Trauma and stroke patient experience preferred.
Preferred experience with radiology equipment. License : State license required Certifications : - ARRT- BLS Must-Have : - Current ARRT-R Certification- Willingness to obtain ARRT-CT within one year of employment Job Description : Work in the radiology department with a focus on Computed Tomography.
- Assist during the graveyard shift to cover both x-ray and CT duties.- Perform various types of imaging studies, including trauma, strokes, outpatient, inpatient, and ER scenarios, along with a small number of procedures.
- Participate in interpreting an average of 60-80 scans / studies per day.- Use Meditech EMR and DR merge, with a transition to Phillips.
- Operate Siemens-specific radiology equipment.- Collaborate with the department lead during the day and respond to radiologists who are available from 8-5, with on-call availability beyond these hours.
- Start IVs when required. Candidates looking to enhance their experience in trauma and stroke imaging will find this role particularly fulfilling.
