About The Position
Job Title : Medical Laboratory Technologist Job Specialty : Medical Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 40 hours per week, 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM, every other weekend and holiday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years with high complexity laboratory automation and basic computer knowledge License : MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification preferred Certifications : MLS or equivalent Must-Have : BS Degree in Medical Technology or AAS in Medical Technology from an accredited school Job Description : Work in a medical laboratory as a technologist, performing tests and analyses.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in testing procedures.- Operate and maintain high complexity laboratory equipment and automation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide accurate test results.- Adhere to safety protocols and laboratory guidelines.
- Participate in quality control programs.- Support laboratory operations during holidays and weekends as required.- Utilize basic computer skills for entering and managing test data.
