Senior Clinical Registrar - CANCER PARTNERS

Description

Be responsible for performing the processes necessary to meet the requirements as described in selected standards of the Commission of Cancers (COC) Cancer Program Standard, SEER and the Washington Cancer Registry.

This includes but is not limited to casefinding, abstracting, follow-up, quality control and 10% audits of the abstracted cases with completeness, timeliness and data quality.

Assist in the planning and direction of tumor registry applications and databases in coordination with MIS and software in regards to database changes, software upgrades, report writing and interfaces.

Must be a team player that supports the vendors, MIS and colleagues in the clinical and business departments.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : Medical Terminology Course
• Upon hire : National Certified Tumor Registrar - National Cancer Registrars Association

Preferred Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree : Allied Health related field
• Cancer Registry experience.
