We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team and drive these strategic initiatives, contributing to our long-term success in the Northern California transportation market.

Job Description :

The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading transportation projects, securing new business, and managing client relationships.

This position demands a blend of technical expertise, business development acumen, and strong leadership skills. You will be instrumental in aligning our project execution with our goals of unifying transportation services and ensuring that our objectives are met with excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Leadership :
  • Lead project teams to successful completion of high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage project quality, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide oversight and accountability for assigned projects with a high level of proficiency.
  • Business Development :
  • Actively engage with business development personnel to identify and pursue project opportunities.
  • Participate in project interviews with potential and existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain a network of personal business contacts for potential opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management :
  • Establish and cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
  • Act as a liaison with agencies and stakeholders to mine future opportunities.
  • Team Development :
  • Develop and lead a cohesive team to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct skills assessment and alignment gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing training and support for internal training programs.
  • Strategic Initiatives :
  • Participate in collaborative workshops to define goals, set objectives, and outline strategies for firm-wide transportation specific initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation project management.
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Pay :

The typical base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $187,000 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

This is a salaried position paid biweekly.
