FREELANCE SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Location : Long Beach, CA office - Hybrid - 1- 2 days in office, 3-4 days remote. 10-20hrs week.

Reports To : Senior Account Manager

Hourly Salary Range : $50-60 / hr

JOB SUMMARY :

At eg+, our Freelance Senior Project Managers are the connective tissue of our teams, our ability to run day-to-day operations smoothly, and an essential partner to our internal and client teams.

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Freelance Senior Project Manager who can quickly get up-to-speed and autonomously run projects including client communication.

The Freelance Senior Project Manager will be the daily U.S. Daily point of contact for 2K adaptation production scope of work.

The candidate will be responsible for communication between our in-house production team and the 2K client, they will lead project briefs with 2K and coordinate with eg+ global teams accordingly.

The Freelance Senior Project Manager will be able to orchestrate efficient processes, develop standard operating procedures jointly with 2K and will be responsible for overall master scheduling and KPI measurement.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Gain alignment on the scope, schedule, assumptions, and cost for projects with an ability to effectively translate these to estimates / statements of work.
• Create timelines quickly, thinking through each step that is needed for respective projects. Ability to plan multiple, concurrent projects, also managing across projects to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met.

Appropriately prioritize and manage the workflow internally and externally with the client. Ensure every necessary step of project scope is accounted for within the schedule and clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.

Serve as the main liaison between internal teams and maintain communications with team members and clients, ensuring that needs are met, and flags are raised as needed.

Capture meeting notes and client feedback to ensure all items are acted upon.

Motivate teams across disciplines to create a collaborative environment and challenging them to produce great work. Assign individual resource responsibilities and help identify proper resources needed.

Lead project status meetings for internal and external teams.

• Manage project scope, timeline, and budget (hours utilization rate) and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made.
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines while managing multiple projects.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Proactive, self-starting, critical thinker with 5+ years of experience managing scope, timelines, and teams in a marketing agency or related environment.
• Excellent relationship building and client-facing skills.
• Conscientious and adept at problem-solving through critical thinking.
• Comfortable leading team and client meetings, tailor communications based on audience and level.
• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and effective communication skills (both verbal and writing).
• Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company, external partners, and clients.
• Technical skills : Mac fluent, Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), Adobe Workfront, Slack, Cloud Content Management (Google Drive).
