Job Description : As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and / or mental health challenges in their daily lives.
This role involves providing compassionate care, assistance with daily activities, and promoting a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities : Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
Provide support in community integration, including transportation, social activities, and vocational training. Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other team members.
Implement individualized support plans and monitor progress towards personal goals. Encourage and support individuals in developing skills for greater independence and self-advocacy.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided, including progress notes and incident reports. Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications : Requirement Previous DSP experience DDS (DC Training phase 1 & 2 Mandatory) CPR FISRT AID CMT (Not mandatory) Pay : 17.
