Position Responsibilities :
In this position, you'll be performing and participating in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, storing, and distributing reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Performing other duties that are assigned or required for the role. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high-level care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you play a vital role in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Requirements :
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A certification in Sterile Processing is preferred, but it is not required. A Central Processing background and experience are required. Must be flexible with hours and has the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300 lbs. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, a strong ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families. This candidate must have the ability to travel to both of ORA's ASC locations as needed.
