Our patients span all age groups, from children to geriatric individuals.
Our services involve a range of medical and non-medical assistance provided through visits to the individual's own home. These services include Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Home Health Aide Services. Aveanna's services are tailored to individual's needs and can significantly improve the quality of life for those who need short-term assistance but wish to remain in their own homes.
Position Overview
Join Aveanna Healthcare as Home Health Aide (HHA). You will provide personal care, selected treatment procedures, minimal household tasks and occasional meal preparation under the advisory of a Registered Nurse for individuals with special needs in their homes.

Essential Job Functions
Perform personal care tasks including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.Perform home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaningPlan meals, shop for groceries, prepare and serve meals, and clean upCommunicate verbally with clients, client family members, and Recover Health staff in a professional mannerEnsure client safety while maintaining a safe environmentRemind and assist clients with self-administration of medications (with proper training)Encourage self-help activitiesReport and Document services provided and changes in client's condition or family situation to the officeMaintain clinical record documentation according to Recover Health policy and procedures as well as state and federal regulationsOther Skills / AbilitiesAttention to detailTime ManagementEffective problem-solving and conflict resolutionGood organization and communication skillsPhysical Requirements
