Job Title : Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Instructor
Position Summary : Kairos University of California is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Instructor to join our faculty.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marriage and family therapy, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
The LMFT Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing curriculum, and contributing to the academic growth of our students.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and informative lectures on marriage and family therapy topics.
Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, handouts, and assignments.
Assess and evaluate student performance through exams, papers, and other assignments.
Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering their academic and professional development.
Stay current with developments in the field of marriage and family therapy and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.
Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the program through curriculum development and assessment initiatives.
Qualifications
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing.
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in marriage and family therapy.
Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
