Leading Low voltage contractor seeking Top lead low voltage technicians with 6 years plus experience. Prevailing wage pay with full benefit package.
State certified VDV / Fire-life safety Card. If you do not have a VDV card we can help the right applicant. We are a leader in turnkey low voltage systems including voice / data cabling infrastructure, audio / video systems, mass notification, surveillance / CCTV, public address / clocks and pro audio applications.
You must have a full understanding of Low voltage systems. Self Driven with the abilities to lead small crews. Good customer service and attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Installation of pathways and cabling
Analyze blueprints effectively for job site knowledge
Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures, and training
demonstrate the ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size
opportunity to lead small crews
enforce a safe jobsite and maintains compliance with company safety and safety standards
programming and testing of systems
customer training of installed systems
maintenance and support, service calls of installed systems
accurately complete required paper work on time
Education / Skills / Experience :
Required :
High school diploma or equivalent is required
6 years plus in the industry
Knowledge of telecommunication, data network, cabling and / or connectivity, desktop / server hardware and software with regards to configurations, trouble shooting and basic programming
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and listening
Confident engaging with customers during the period of the project
Solid attention to detail with good follow through
Ability to read and understand blue prints
Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
Commute to various job sites
Knowledge of BICSI / TIA standards
Knowledge to operate fluke versiv
Bicsi certified technician level 2 or ITS
A / V systems programming experience (Extron, Crestron)
Public Address systems (Telecor, Valcom, Bogen, rauland)
CCTV Programming various systems
Fire Alarm Programming and trouble shooting
