Last Mile Fiber Engineer

A company is looking for a Last Mile Fiber Engineer to join a strategic team focused on telecommunications and data connectivity.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as a technical and strategic advisor for interconnection strategies and access network rollouts

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with network carriers and vendors for infrastructure projects

Collaborate with internal teams to optimize access and routing decisions and present strategies to stakeholders

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in the telecom or fiber optics industry

Strong understanding of terrestrial fiber networks and interconnection models

Experience managing infrastructure partnerships and executing negotiations

Solid knowledge of GIS-based planning and infrastructure modeling

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
