Description
Provides weekly and monthly reports, computer documents, accurate billing, and overall departmental bookkeeping. Reconciles all cash sales.
Prepares and maintains all accounting records of retail sales. Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports for department.
Maintains approved standards of internal controls. Prepares and reconciles cashier cash banks and safe. Processes food and supply invoices for payment and prepares invoice register to track weekly operating expenses.
Maintains innovative approach to invoice tracking / spreadsheet creation. Responsible for training, auditing and education of cashiers.
Assists leaders with the operation of retail operations and coordination of on-site catering events. Maintains Menu Marketing program in an orderly fashion and up to date.
Estimated pay range for this position is $18.59 - $22.49 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees :Licenses & Certifications :
ServSafe Certification.
Additional Qualifications :
- Serv Safe Certification within 3 months of hire, Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, project planning or event planning, Bachelors in event / hospitality preferred.
- Clerical / administrative experience required.
- Extensive computer knowledge, to include knowledge of MS Office tools and Internet, with expertise in spreadsheets and specialty software.
- Able to speak, read, and write English.
- General knowledge of company policies, practices, and operations.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic bookkeeping, accounting, and cash handling / double entry experience.
- Creates and provides projects based on Green Belt Lean Six Sigma.
