Position Summary

Harness is looking for a Staff Product Manager - Platform, who will be responsible for driving critical Platform capabilities, aimed at making Harness the default Software Delivery Platform for millions of developers.

In this role, you will be the owner of key Platform features, and contribute to product definition and development as well as product evangelism.

This is a high impact, high visibility role that requires cross-functional execution spanning other PMs, Engineering, Developer Relations, Sales, Marketing, Design, Research, Customer Success and Support.

About The Role

  • The successful candidate will partner with customers, sales and product teams to define and build impactful Platform capabilities.
  • Use Data & Insights to drive strategic planning and execution.
  • Be hands-on and excited to dive in with Engineering, including building some quick automations, writing queries and more.
  • Partner with Developer Relations Eng and Developer Advocacy teams to contribute to both internal and external content, to help drive Harness Platform adoption.

  • 4 years of experience in Engineering / Software Development.
  • 1+ years of experience in product management with SaaS / Cloud companies.
  • Experience with DevOps / Developer Tools.
  • Past experience in building Platforms, Authentication, Security, APIs.
  • Experience in open source.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven product decision-making mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Work Location

This position is required to work from our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $228,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
