Position Summary
Arts & Science is seeking a talented IT Support Specialist to join the Department of Computing and Information Technology.
This individual will deliver technical support to faculty and staff. Assist with technology in classrooms, labs, and offices.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, provide A / V support, and manage network printers while collaborating with faculty and staff to assess needs and enhance productivity.
Supervise student workers.
Qualifications
Required Education : Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience :
2+ years Relevant experience with software, peripherals, and systems' performance, writing programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Experience in an academic computing support environment. Knowledge of basic networking concepts and security practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2019 and 2021 Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with network printing support. Experience with cloud storage services. Knowledge of BigFix, Workspace ONE, Cortex XDR, Splunk, and InsightVM.
Experience with Smart Deploy and CloneZilla.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Ability to troubleshoot A / V problems and connectivity issues. Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant certification.
Knowledge of emerging informational and multi-media technologies.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.
