Job Title : Automatic Door Technician (AAADM Certified)

Position Summary : 3 full days a month - $40k - 50K (Must have own tools and transportation to Dublin, GA).

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automatic Door Technician (AAADM certified) to join our dynamic team. Must be AAADM-certified and mechanically minded to work on commercial doors. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing automatic doors, and installing or repairing manual doors. Glass installation knowledge is helpful.

Candidates must have AAADM certification with prior door experience. A mechanical aptitude, positive attitude, and the ability to be independent every day are required.

This is a part-time 1099 position. You will work 3 days a month and handle a few service calls with time frames of 4-24 hours to complete. Must have own tools, a truck, and a valid driver\'s license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure automatic door systems according to specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance and routine inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automatic doors.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to automatic door systems and execute repairs promptly.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during installations and repairs.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in automatic door systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automatic Door Technician or a similar role.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills with a focus on automatic door systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to various job sites.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; AAADM certification in automatic door systems a must.
