The Registered Nurse provides patient care utilizing the nursing process in inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
- License / Certifications : Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
- Experience : 1+ year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of counseling theory, physical and psychological effects of mental illness and substance abuse preferred
- Knowledge of bio-psychosocial assessments required
