THEOPPORTUNITY

Journey-levelpositionresponsibleforstart,stopandmonitoring ofequipmentincludingreading gauges,metersandrecordingactivities in operating fogsandrecords.

Usescomputersandmonitoringequipment to measure,recordandmakeadjustments withinoperatingparameters.Performs avarietyofplantmaintenancetasksincludingdiagnosis,maintenance andrepairofmechanicalandelectricalequipmentina safe,efficientandeconomicalmanner.

Performsoverhaulmaintenanceandsystemimprovement tasks.Incumbentsassistinthedevelopmentofoperationalprocedures,operatortrainingmodulesandprovideinput toplantbetterment itemstoimprove plantsafety,reliability andefficiency.

Employeeswillparticipatein theplantmaintenanceprogramas asystemowneranddocument plantmaintenance recordsinacomputerized workmaintenancemanagement system(CMMS).

Ensures compliance withalllocal,StateandFederalregulations andplantprocedures.

THERESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performsavarietyofcomplextechnicalservices / supportdutiesrequiringspecializedoperationalknowledge.
• Regularlymakesdecisionsonnon-routineorescalatedtechnicalissues.
• Responsibletomeetcontractsalesagreementwithinsafe,reliable,andefficientequipmentoperationallimitationsduringhis / hershift.
• Independentlyprioritizesandexecutesresponsibilities.
• Reviewsownworkandpossiblytheworkof others;workresultsarethehighestqualitystandardsandadvanced technicalcompetency.

Resolvesthemostcomplextechnicalissues,conferringwithmanagement occasionally;mayserveasaresourcetoothersin resolutionofcomplexissues.

Worksunderlimitedtonosupervision.

Prepares,maintainsandprovidesavarietyof reports / documentsasrequiredor uponrequest.

• Ensuresstrictadherencetoallsafetyandenvironmentalprocedures.
• Participationinthebasicsafetyprocessesas akeymember o!thesitesafetycommitteeandhavingasharedresponsibility forthesite'soverallsafety performance.
• Communicates conditionofplantsystems,equipmentandpertinentinformationtoothers.
• Interpretandrespondtovisual!andauditorysignalsfromcontrolpanel.
• Performcontrolroomandoutsideoperationofall stationequipment andsystemsduringroutine,abnormal,andemergencyoperations.
• Positionrequiresaqualificationprocesstodemonstrateabilitytooperatethepowerplantproperlyandsafely.
• Performstart-up,operation,monitoring,shutdownandlock-outofplantauxiliaryequipmentattheequipmentlocation.
• Operateallplantmobileequipment,forklift,manlift,etc.

Performchemicalanalysisonplantwatersystemswhichincludeboilerwaterdeminera1izedwater,condensatewater,feedwater,coolingwater,andrawwater.

• Operateandperformroutinemaintenanceonareverseosmosissystemandcation / anionbeddemineralizingsystem.
• Performmaintenanceandupkeepofsitebuildingsandgrounds.
• Ensureadequatesupplyof oilandchemicals areavailableto supportplantoperation.
• Respondpromptlytoemergency calloutswhennecessary.

Work is on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

• CompleteallO&MTechIItrainingrequirementswithin18 mon1hs.
• Otherdutiesasassigned.

THEPROFLE TQSUCCEED

• HighSchoolDiploma,relatedmilitaryserviceorequivalentrequired.
• Preferredassociatedegree AA)orequivalentfromatwo-yearcollege,tradeschoolcertificationoradvancededucationinmechanical,electrical,orinstrumentation.

Journey-level;generally,5yearsdirectrelatedexperienceincludingunderstanding ofenvironmentalandsafetyregulations,andpreviousexperience workingasaplantoperator.

• Requiredto acquireaStateofMN2ndClassAboilerlicensewithin18monthsof employment.a1stClassAlicensewithin3yearsofemploymentandaChiefABoilerlicensewithin5yearsofemployment
• Requiresexperience workingwithandaroundhazardous chemicalsandwastematerials.
• Requirespreviousexperienceusingtestingequipment&calibrationappliances,
• Requiresadditionalexperiencewithmachineryrepairandcontrolsystems.
• Experienceinindustrialelectrical / mechanical / &Corcertifiedtraining / licensepreferred.
• PowerPlantexperienceispreferred.
• ExperiencewithMaximoCMMSpreferred.
• Industrialexperiencemaintainingvalves,pumps,motors.weldingandrepairofotherbalance ofplantequipmentpreferred.
• Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,interpersonalskills andpossesstheabilitytolearn.
• Strongmechanicalaptitudeandunderstandingofchemistry,physics.electricityandmathematics.
• Abilitytoexercisegoodjudgmentandmakesounddecisions.
• Excellentorganizationalskillswithattentiontodetail,accuracy,andtimeliness.
• Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills.
• Abilitytofollowbothverbalandwritteninstructions.

• ValidU.S.DriverlicensewithacceptableMVRhistory,if applicable.
