The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. It’s Work That Matters. Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Project Manager is responsible for projects under Hematology-Oncology’s administrative leadership team.
Manages implementation of projects and project tasks to achieve successful and satisfactory project deliverables and objectives, including high quality, timely and cost-effective execution.
Develops and maintains project schedules and work plans; collaborates with and coordinates internal and external resources and stakeholders;
conducts research and analyses; and monitors and documents project progress. Initiates process improvement initiatives within the Division and collaborates with stakeholders in other service locations to strategize and implement.
Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 5+ years of progressive project management experience; project management experience in health care preferred.
Must be able to hit the ground running and is a quick learner. Data Analysis, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Visio / Workflows experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi disciplinary perspectives.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Attention to detail : Must be very detail-oriented and have good follow-through. Must be organized and have a good eye for proof-reading emails, presentations, and other materials.
Must be proactive and can anticipate possible issues / needs of the leader / project.
Project Management : Must be able to complete the necessary projects / tasks by the required deadline independently without micromanagement and multiple reminders.
Must have good presence and can lead / facilitate meetings skillfully and does not shy away from asking difficult questions.
Must be able to think critically and troubleshoot.
Communication : Must have good communication skills in all aspects of communication. Must be able to expresses themselves eloquently and clearly in verbal communication.
Must have strong written communication skills with good grammar. Must also be a good listener and can parse out details in a conversation / meeting and doesn’t miss important factors.
Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field.
Masters Degree preferred. Pay Scale Information $80,288.00-$144,518.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.
Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
