Job Title : Regional Sales Manager - Dental Implants (North East USA)

Location : Home based in the North East (New England / MA)

Cynosure Talent is proudly partnered with a well respected, European dental implant manufacturer with a strong reputation for highly engineered, precision dental implants.

The business is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to motivate approximately 6 sales reps within the North East Territory (New England, MA, up state New York and PA).

This position is a pure management position and does not carry any personal sales target-this is an ideal position for a dynamic individual who enjoys co-travelling and being close to the field to coach direct reports and empower individuals to grow and succeed.

Explanation of Role

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) represents the brand in a professional manner and owns responsibility for achieving sales goals within a defined geographic territory.

Based out of a home office, the RSM position will involve co-travelling as required to meet large accounts / DSO's and drive successful rep activity within the field.

We are looking for a Regional manager who is happy to 'roll their sleeves up' in the field, establishing relationships and leading the team with selling to oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, general dentists and institutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve 100%+ of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Work with the President to set goals for the business
  • Create and maintain a territory plan that provides analysis, trends, and strategies to exceed sales goals. Manage Territory Sales Reps in a scalable and efficient way.
  • Represent company in a positive and professional manner and provide excellent service to cultivate customer growth.
  • Increase awareness and market share of products both through the field sales team and at industry exhibitions.
  • Develop a sales funnel of prospective customers and execute strategies to convert them into satisfied accounts.
  • Establish technical product competency in product range and the dental implant industry to demonstrate value to customers.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with influential customers and thought leaders who have the ability to act as brand ambassadors.
  • Provide assistance as requested to ensure proper use of products and instruments.
  • Adhere to allocated expense budget.
  • Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and news.
  • Represent company at dental implant meetings and exhibitions as required.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven business-to-business sales performance managing relationships and growing market share.

  • Ability to learn and comprehend highly technical information and, in turn, educate customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team of 6 direct reports to achieve strong success in the field.
  • Strong organizational and detailed skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including CRM and Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondences.
  • Ability to effectively present information, communicate and respond to questions clearly and persuasively with customers, management and other key members of the company while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Other Skills & Abilities

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license without a DUI / DWI conviction within the last three years for the state in which the employee person resides.
  • Must have a strong comfort level and technical knowledge to personally observe and provide technical advice on dental implant procedures.
