Staff Accountant Opportunity - Urbandale, IA
Job Description :
- This position is for an entry-level professional individual contributor in General Accounting, who works under close supervision.
- Under general supervision this role provides accounting support requiring familiarity with and experience in accounting office practices as well as knowledge of a variety of accounting classifications.
- Duties may be performed in various groups within Controllership including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Control, Fiduciary and General Ledger.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger Accounting :
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyses.
Accounts Payable and Receivable :
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Financial Reporting :
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Help with the preparation of management reports and variance analyses.
