The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. The successful candidate will be joining an established Client Ops team, working with colleagues in Boston, London to work on enhancing existing application.
This team develop software solutions working closely with Client Operations business vertical. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
MUST HAVE : Python, C#, MySQL, API experience
No vendors or Corp to Corp.
Must be located in Boston area, MA.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Work on all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
- Develop and support software as required by the business. This includes working on our internal applications such as OMS / statement generation / reconciliation etc.
- Maintaining and improving the existing codebase based on guidelines set by the team management.
- Working in a collaborative team environment with lots of pairing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer
- Development experience with both dynamic and statically typed languages, preferably Python and C#.
- Proficient in designing, developing, and managing APIs.
- Strong database design and querying skills preferably in MySQL.
- Experience working in agile setup.
- Genuine passion for solving complex problems through programming.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks is preferred
- Experience working in front end development in React
