RN- SUBACUTE CARE

Opportunity Overview :

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is pleased to collaborate with a leading regional medical center in Everett, Washington, to recruit a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for their Subacute Care unit.

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients transitioning from acute care to a less intensive level of care, while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Assessment and Care Planning : Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans that promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Medication Administration and Treatment : Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform other nursing interventions as needed to manage patients' conditions and optimize their well-being.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on their conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Required :
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active Washington Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
• Preferred :
• National Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., CRRN)
