Shift : Days with some night and weekend call required
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 3 years
License : Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska
Certifications : Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
Must-Have : COVID-19 vaccine (including 1 booster) and Flu vaccine
Job Description :
- Work efficiently within the Operating Room, handling all types of elective and emergency cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB / GYN
- Multi-task effectively to ensure surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner
- Utilize after-hours call services to staff the Operating Rooms on nights, holidays, and weekends
- Experience in Critical Access Hospitals and / or Rural Operating Rooms is strongly preferred
- Work with Cerner EMR system
This position is ideal for a traveler experienced in the OR who meets the qualifications and is looking to join a dynamic team.
