Job Summary : iKids Pediatric Dentistry in Denton is seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to cover for maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing exceptional dental care. This temporary position requires availability on the specified dates from August through November.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Conduct initial dental assessments and charting.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all dental office infection control procedures.
Qualifications :
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas.
- Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR certification.
Working Hours :
Hours may vary, but typically align with standard dental office hours on the specified dates.
Compensation :
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
