We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales to join our client's office in Rockville, MD. This is a 100% in office-based role and currently not open to hybrid.
Compensation offered is an excellent base + incentive compensation. This role will have some individual sales contributions, but will mainly require an individual who will proactively engage and develop the sales team to convert business leads.
They will conduct quality customer conversations to assess the client needs for business-to-business services. The successful Director will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills to coach the team to proactively engage and drive new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Develop sales staff to perform inbound client queries via telephone / email and also using Zoom / Teams.
- Design and deliver dynamic training programs tailored to B2B sales targeting C-level executives.
- Facilitate role-playing exercises to simulate high-pressure telephonic sales situations.
- Continuously update and refine training materials to reflect industry trends and best practices.
- Objection Handling : Equip sales teams with advanced strategies to handle objections confidently and effectively.
- Train on situational awareness and adaptive techniques to pivot conversations in real-time.
- Monitor sales representative’s performance post-training to ensure proper application of techniques.
- Offer constructive feedback and one-on-one coaching sessions to assist in areas of improvement.
- Provide proactive outbound advice to potential clients.
- Ensure that all databases and systems are accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with the team in a positive manner.
Requirements
- Proven track record leading and developing B2B (Business to Business) sales team
- Ability to communicate with C-Level executives with medium-large companies
- Basic understanding of business services such as unemployment claims or tax credits
- Experience with financial services, insurance, banking or healthcare a plus
