Program Manager

Business Description :

Our client, a leading technology and energy company that provides solutions for industrial batteries in the energy and motive industries, is seeking a talented and experienced Program Manager to join their team.

Job Description :

As a Program Manager, you will drive the development and evolution of the client’s software platform. This role is crucial in managing the overall program strategy while ensuring successful delivery of individual projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in program and project management, a proven track record of working in cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This position requires a unique blend of strategic vision, technical understanding, and hands-on project management expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Management :

• Oversee the entire platform development program, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
• Define program scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
• Develop and manage high-level program plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Continuously monitor program progress, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Project Management :

• Manage day-to-day project activities including scoping, requirements gathering, task assignment, and execution.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for individual projects within the program.
• Ensure all projects within the program are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Track key project metrics, KPIs, and progress, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

• Work closely with product management, engineering, UX / UI, and operations teams to ensure alignment on goals and execution.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business decisions.
• Lead program meetings, ensuring clear communication across all teams and stakeholders.

Resource & Stakeholder Management :

• Allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and program success.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on program and project status, risks, and milestones.

Continuous Improvement :

• Implement and advocate for best practices in project and program management, driving continuous improvement in processes and methodologies.
• Utilize data to analyze program performance and recommend enhancements for future projects.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards throughout the program lifecycle.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications are preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in program and project management, preferably in SaaS or technology-based platforms.
• Proven track record of managing complex programs with multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile methodology.
• Hands-on experience in leading software development projects, particularly cloud-based platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
• Technical understanding of full-stack development, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and modern development practices.
• Experience in risk management, resource allocation, and financial forecasting for program success.
• Experience working in energy, battery, or renewable industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks related to software platforms and industrial solutions.
