Our client, a fantastic mission-driven nonprofit, is seeking a direct-hire Major Gifts Coordinator to join their development team!

The Job :

  • Manage full-cycle fundraising including prospecting and building, cultivating, and stewarding, relationships.
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of high-level donors and prospects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure major gifts.
  • Coordinate donor and prospect meetings to present proposals and make donation asks.
  • Support fundraising event initiatives to help cultivate and steward major gift donors.

About You :

  • 2+ years of major gifts experience and a bachelor's degree are required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or similar CRM) are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with securing major gifts and donor cultivation / stewardship is required.
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of database management and donor software programs

About the Position :

  • $55K-$60K, depending on experience.
  • Annual increase and merit bonus eligible with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • 100% on-site in Bethesda, MD
  • Participation with evening and weekend fundraising activities as needed.
