Description :

Physical Therapist for a first-time traveler accepted.

One year of experience in acute care is required.

BLS, state license, and Epic experience are required.

Acute care experience is mandatory; rehabilitation hospital work setting experience is preferred.

This position is primarily outpatient PT but may require coverage for acute care and inpatient rehab on occasion.

Schedule varies from 40 hours Monday through Friday with flexibility for shifts.

Options include 5-8 hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, one late shift from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, four 10-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, or four 9-hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with a half day on occasion.

On-call rotation is every 7 weeks for coverage as needed, with holidays rotated at one holiday per year.

Attire required is Caribbean blue or khakis with a lab coat.

All candidates must have acute care skills including assessment, safety and injury prevention, and knowledge of various conditions.

Candidates are expected to manage equipment such as Hoyer lifts and specialty beds, and possess skills in gait training and rehabilitation practices.

Teamwork and support for other units are essential aspects of this role.
