Product Manager MBA Intern (TikTok Shop - Moderation) - 2025 Summer Start (MBA)

Team Introduction

Our team is within the Global E-commerce Governance and Experience organization, focusing on moderation. We strive to provide trustworthy and excellent experience for every user of TikTok Shop.

Our main responsibility is to leverage LLM, machine learning, and AI to develop tools and platforms to improve moderation quality and efficiency.

We are looking for an intern to join us to support our key initiatives. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025.

This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May / June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below : Monday, May 12Monday, May 19Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)Monday, June 9Monday, June 23 We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates.

• Responsibilities- Build content security review platform to improve review efficiency and quality by optimizing human review content, tools and strategies, coordinating review manpower and other resources;
• Build platform capabilities to reduce operation and R&D costs, and improve efficiency of audit tools and strategies;- Own the product design and drive product development and launch;
• Work with cross functional teams to deep dive on data and processes to identify opportunities to improve moderation efficiency and quality, develop product ideas based on the findings;
• Collaborate with technical and nontechnical cross-functional stakeholders to define product strategy, build product frameworks, evaluate trade-offs and metrics, and lead the product development and launch.

Minimum Qualifications : - Currently pursuing a full time MBA or a related technical field.- Hands-on product management experience.

Strong logical and critical thinking skills, utilizing a facts and data-driven approach to problem-solving.- Highly analytical, with a laser focus on user needs.

Proven ability to define a product roadmap in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty. Data and action-oriented, even when limited data is available.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a scrappy and proactive approach. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in developing moderation or risk prevention related products. - Experience in developing ML and AI related products.
