Retail Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire front-end of the store. Responsibilities include associate development, customer service, asset protection, and store maintenance. Primary responsibilities include assisting the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and the timely completion of related reports; demonstrating Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" behaviors; ensuring store standards and company programs meet all operational expectations; and performing all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed. Additionally, the Assistant Team Leader assists with maintaining the proper hiring, recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of candidates.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1-2 years' retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer, and schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis. A valid driver's license is also required. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
